The issue of Global warming has been pushed on the American
people for years now but it’s time to shed some light on that issue. Although many scientist and political figures
have been saying that Global warming is manmade it has yet to be proven. Great amounts of money has been raised for
this cause but its seems as though we were fooled, can people really blame
themselves for it getting either really cold or really hot outside? Either way we as a country have bigger issues
right now and should stabilize the economy rather than spend money on the
inevitable.
People who
are on the riding bandwagon of Global warming would argue that the use of
fossil fuels are making the environment hotter, and melting the polar ice caps. Artic ice is melting away making it harder
for polar bears and other artic animals to survive. Also there has been a lot of extreme weather due
to the heat such as tropical storms and wildfires. The environment is more important to save than
the economy because if we don’t stop global warming we will have to deal with
the consequences such as sea levels rising and more natural disasters. The damage that the earth will suffer is not
worth any amount of money.
We should
save the economy. The economy in America
hasn’t been the best as of late; we should put all of our focus into getting
back into a financial space where we do not have to worry. Global warming supporters have flip flopped lately
they have changed their stance to talking about Climate Change which is a very
different subject. The climate has
always changed throughout a number of years, there was the ice age when it was
extremely cold, and then there were periods of time such as now when the earth
has gotten hotter. We as a people have
to slow ourselves down from being so quick to panic and do what were told to. The climate change going on in the world is
normal it’s something that we have no control over and seemed to be pushed upon
us to scare us into the government’s hands.
We need to study more about our world if Global warming is not manmade (which
I believe it’s not) we should move on and focus on issues that we can actually
solve.

“They’re
not talking about global warming anymore. They’re talking about “climate
change.”
“But think about the real absurdity of fighting “climate
change” – the new apocalyptic menace. As a political ax, it can’t be beat. Any
variation in the weather represents a reason for controlling human behavior by
any means necessary and to any extent necessary.”

“The
report, based on the work of some 2,500 scientists in more than 130 countries,
concluded that humans have caused all or most of the current planetary warming.
Human-caused global warming is often called anthropogenic climate change.”
“An upsurge in the amount of extreme weather events, such as
wildfires, heat waves and strong tropical storms, is also attributed in part to
climate change by some experts.”

Dwayne,
ReplyDeleteNice piece. Concise and simple. But I want you to put these great quotes into your article. Yes, you list them as you do, but also, you need to insert them into your blog... so that your blog has more "facts".
You've got the format down. You write an excellent paragraph, just insert more facts now to strengthen your argument. You have the facts at the bottom, now use them in your writing.
